Sindh Ranking Tennis

KARACHI, March 19 Local players get another opportunity to show their prowess when they come across in Sindh ranking tennis tournament, the third of the year, which starts at Southend Club from April 3, organisers announced on Thursday.

Events which are to be organised includes men's singles, ladies singles, girls U-17 singles, juniors U-17 singles, boys U-15 and U-13 singles, boys and girls U-11 singles, boys U-9 singles and juniors doubles.

The competition which carries total prize money of Rs30,000 concludes on April 9.

Last date for submission of entries on prescribed forms is April 1. Entry fee is Rs200 per event. However, coaches, their sons and outstation players have been exempted from entry fee (one event).

Meanwhile, the Sindh Tennis Association (STA) has named Robin Das as organising secretary.
