KARACHI, Dec 21 Six outfits of different educational institutions are in fray in the third Habib Public School (HPS) Inter-school basketball tournament which begins at their multi-purpose gymnasium on Monday.

The teams include Karachi Grammar School, Beaconhouse Main Campus, Arts and Science Academy, St. Michael's School, Aga Khan School and the hosts Habib School. Habibians will also defend their crown.

To be played on single league basis, the tournament will conclude on Thursday.

“The event is tagged with HPS's golden jubilee and three more competitions have been lined up next month after winter break,” director sports of the school, Shabih Abbas, said on Sunday. The events that are to take place are table tennis, gymnastics and hockey.—Sports Correspondent
