Six matches end in draw

LAHORE, April 26: Eight more matches were decided in the third Punjab Under-16 Inter-District football championship at Sports Stadium, Sargodha on Saturday. Sargodha defeated Lodhra 1-0.

Rawalpindi and Gujranwala were tied 2-2 draw. Multan’s clash against Gujrat and Khushab against Rajanpur also ended in 1-1 draw.

Similarly, matches between Mianwali and Sheikhupura, Lahore against Sahiwal, Jhelum against Lodhran and Khanewal against Layyah remained goalless.

Earlier, on first day, Sargodha defeated Hafizabad 2-1. Layyah thrashed Kasur 3-0. Toba Tek Singh blasted Narowal 5-0. Pakpattan outclassed Gujrat 5-1. Sheikhupura beat Gujranwala 1-0.

Sahiwal trounced Narowal 10-0. Rajanpur beat Chakwal 2-0.
