KARACHI, March 18 Defending champions St Patrick's High School were knocked out of the second Ian Fyfe Memorial Inter-school Twenty20 cricket tournament when City School PAF Chapter scored a stunning seven-wicket win in the first semi-final at the KGA Gymkhana Ground here on Thursday.

After being set a target of 128, City School moved into the final by making 129-3 in the 17th over. Opener Yasir Malik starred with an unbeaten 42 and a second-wicket partnership of 60 with Maisam Ali who contributed 26.

Earlier, St Patrick's were restricted to 127-7. Kafeel Abidi was the leading run-getter with 32 while Sylvester Dean scored an undefeated 25.

Younis Farooq claimed two wickets for 29 runs.

Meanwhile, the second semi-final between Southshore School and Bay View High School is slated to be played on Saturday at the same venue.
