ISLAMABAD, March 20 The seventh Subh-e-Nau Ladies National tennis championship started at the Pakistan Tennis Federation Complex here on Saturday.

In the ladies singles event, Zohra Gul walloped Shahida Badshah in straight sets.

In the U-17 event, Mehak Khokhar, Sahar Mohsin and Eman Quraishi qualified for next round.

Top seed Mehak Khokhar defeated Maryam Shakir Jan in straight sets.

Eman Quraishi got a walkover against Mahnoor Afzal Khan while Sahar Mohsin Sheikh hammered Humera Gul Saeed 6-2, 6-2.

In U-13 event, Sahar Mohsin Sheikh and Ramin Farrukh beat their respective rivals in straight sets.
