Volleyball camp begins

ISLAMABAD, Oct 7 The national volleyball squad's training programme started here on Wednesday for the upcoming 11th edition of Al-Rashid International Men's volleyball championship, scheduled to be held in the United Arab Emirates from Oct 22 to 28.

An official of the Pakistan Volleyball Federation (PVF) told Dawn that the training program has been divided into two sessions and coaches Mohammad Jameel and Hasan Mazhar Hasnain were working hard to improve skills of the players.

He said the team will depart for the UAE on Oct 20.

Pakistan had earlier won a bronze medal in the 10th edition of the Al-Rashid International Men's volleyball championship.
