LAHORE, May 1 Pakistan Hockey Federation's (PHF) Selection Committee has announced an 18-member Pakistan women's team for the Asian Games qualifying tournament.

The players were selected after the Selection Committee Chairman Olympian Hanif Khan and members Olympian Arshad Chaudhry and Olympian Mohammad Usman observed the final one-day trials at the National Hockey Stadium here on Saturday.

The Asian Games qualifiers will be played in Bangkok, Thailand, from May 22 to 30. Besides Pakistan and hosts Thailand, the other teams taking part in the event comprise Hong Kong, Kazakhstan, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Chinese Taipei and Uzbekistan.
