LAHORE, April 25: Honours were equally shared by the defending champion Wapda, Army, Police and Railways winning two bouts each on the opening day of the 25th Golden Jubilee national wrestling championship at Railways stadium here Friday.
Secretary, Pakistan Olympic Association, Muhammad Latif Butt inaugurated the three-day event being participated by all the affiliated units of the Pakistan Wrestling Federation including four provinces, Army, Police, Wapda, University Grants Commission and hosts Railways.
NWFP, Sindh and Punjab each won one bout in the first round.
