Police kill man

NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, April 25: A man, Manzoor Ali Korai, 30, was killed when police opened fire on his car (B-0093) on the National Highway, near Moro, on Friday.

Manzoor was headed towards Moro with his father, Ali Mohammad Korai, and two other men when police, who were patrolling the area in a mobile, tried to stop them.

In the police mobile vehicle were the SHO, Sethar police, Dildar Sehto; head constable Qurban Ali, and constables Ali Gul Leghari and Dodo Khan Dahar.

When the car did not stop, the head constable opened fire as a result of which Manzoor was killed on the spot.

The Moro police registered an FIR under section 302 and 34 PPC and arrested the head constable.—Correspondent
