KARACHI, April 25: A group of lawyers, headed by Advocate, Ms Fatima Ismail, on Friday called on the Sindh Chief Secretary K.B Rind, and presented him a report regarding the problems being faced by the lawyers pertaining to the legal issues of the people.
Advocate Raees Ahmed Khan, the coordinator of the group, requested the CS to issue orders to the police authorities to verify the NIC cases of women without calling them at the police stations, as it was not proper.
The lawyers held that Korangi area was being ignored in the devolution plan, as no offices of the registrar, Karachi Development Authority, Exercise and Taxation department etc had been established in the area.—APP
