LONDON, April 25: British economic growth slowed in the first quarter of 2003, held back in particular by the service sector which saw its worst growth rate for more than a decade, official figures showed on Friday.
In the first three months of 2003, Britain’s GDP increased by just 0.2 per cent from the previous quarter.—AFP
