Five of a family shot dead

MIAN CHUNOON, April 24: Two assailants shot five persons of a family dead, including a woman, over a petty dispute here in Chak No. 15/104 late on Wednesday night.

Reports say two cousins, Sarim Hyder Shah and Shahbaz Shah, had provided electricity connection to their relatives from their house.

On Wednesday, they had a quarrel with these relatives on payment of bill.

Late in the night, the two barged into their house and shot Anwar Shah, his son, Zahid Hussain Shah, daughter-in-law, Lubna, and grandsons, Arsalan and Zeeshan, dead and made good their escape.

Police have cordoned off the area to arrest the killers. —PPI
