NAWABSHAH, April 24: Three brothers have demanded that the their brother and nephew should be freed from illegal detention of the B-section police.

Speaking at a press conference at the press club here on Thursday, Ali Asghar Zardari, Ali Akbar Zardari and Azizullah Zardari said head constable Ali Ghulam Khaskheli and other policemen raided their house in the Faqir Rasool Bux Zardari village near Daur and took their brother, Nazar Mohammad, and nephew, Qadir Bux Zardari, after manhandling them.

They said they went the B-section police station and met their relatives and the head constable, who demanded Rs20,000 for the release of the detainees.

They said they filed an application at a local court in this regard. The court constituted a team which raided the police station but the police had moved the detainees to another place.

They feared their brother and nephew might be killed.

They appealed to the Sindh governor, IGP, AIGP and the Nawabshah DPO to ensure the release of the detainees.

SECTION 144 CRPC: District Nazim Faryal Talpur has imposed Section 144 CrPC till May 13 at examination centres in the district.
