DERA GHAZI KHAN, April 23: Five armed robbers released the minor son of a goldsmith after taking Rs0.8 million as ransom here on Wednesday. Mughees Abbas along with his son Jawad Hussain (4) was on his way by his car (575-MNV) when he was intercepted by armed men in a black car on Jail Road. Later, the robbers took them away to Airport Road via Quetta-Dera Road. Two of the kidnappers brought back the goldsmith to his shop in Block 7, got the ransom money and released Mughees and his son.

It may be mentioned that Mughees is the son of Multan SP (Investigation) Malik Murid Hussain who had been involved in the investigation of the Maddad Committee scam.
