RAWALPINDI, April 23: Assistant Commissioner Sadar circle Asadullah Faiz on Wednesday recorded the statements of seven people including two police officers in an alleged torture case.

However, the medical report suggested that Mohammad Imran was brought to the hospital on Tuesday 7.30 pm complaining chest pain and vomiting and his body showed no signs of torture.

Asadullah Faiz recorded the statements of Mohammad Imran, Waheed (the second accused in the case in which Imran was booked), three eye-witnesses, SHO Golra and SI Sarfaraz, who was interrogating Imran.

In his statement, Mohammad Imran said he was tortured in remand custody. Imran on Wednesday started shouting apparently for fear of police, while he was being released from the PIMS after stay in the hospital for more than ten hours.
