KOHAT, April 28 Three students were killed and two seriously injured when the wall of a primary school collapsed in Dost Mohammad Banda on Tuesday.

The boundary wall of the old building of the school fell on the children at 8pm. Three children between the ages of six and ten were buried under the wall and died on the spot.

The killed students were identified as Mohammad Umer, Mohammad Ishaq and Said Umer. The injured students identified as Asif and Shahab, who weres in coma were rushed to KDA hospital. By evening their condition was reported to be out of danger.

The three killed students were buried in their ancestral graveyard. The old school building has two classrooms and strength of the students is 160.

SUSPECTS HELD The security forces demolished the hujras of two tribesmen in an operation in Babozay Kalay and Qasim Khel areas and arrested six suspected militants on Tuesday.

The security forces launched an operation on Tuesday morning and demolished the hurja of commander Bilal in Babozay Kalay of Mala Khel tribe. Six suspects were also arrested from the same area during a search operation and shifted to an unknown place. A hujra of Khial Akbar was also destroyed in Qasim Khel area. —Correspondent
