ISLAMABAD, April 21: The National Assembly secretariat on Monday opened the volume of communication system in the Assembly to the maximum for smooth proceeding of the house during the ongoing rumpus on the Legal Framework Order issue.

A leader of the ruling PML-Q told Dawn that it was decided in the parliamentary committee meeting that the volume of the communication system of the Assembly would be opened to the maximum level.

As a result, the volume of the system remained maximum during the session, resulting in better voice reception in the assembly hall.

“After a long time, the volume of the communication system has been opened to that extent,” a source in the National Assembly secretariat said. The voice reception in the Assembly remained better as compared to that in the last session of the Senate on Friday.

During the Senate session, the voice of the treasury bench Senators could not be heard due to a pandemonium and the session was prorogued without proceeding.
