KARACHI, April 21: Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Shahid Karimullah, lauded the humanitarian services rendered by the non-government organizations in the country, which, he said, were generously utilizing their resources to improve health of the people, along with the government, to serve this noble cause.

He was speaking as chief guest at the Child Health Foundation on Monday, an ISPR news release said.

“The affluent people should support such organizations and foundations so that they can expand their services to the maximum number of the poor and needy people all over the country,” he added. He lauded the role of the CHF, which it was playing, particularly for the betterment of children’s health.

The Naval chief said that children were the future of the nation, so for the creation a balanced and progressive society, it was binding for a nation to pay special attention to the health of its children.

He praised the devotion of the doctors and paramedical staff of the foundation.—APP
