KARACHI, April 19: A function was held at St. Joseph’s Government College for Women Karachi on Saturday to disburse cash awards announced by Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad during a ceremony at the institution on March 27.

Sindh Minister for Excise and Taxation, Rauf Siddiqui, was the chief guest. He distributed cash awards among the teachers and students who had received shields and certificates on March 27.

He congratulated the recipients of the awards and certificates and lauded their performance.

The Minister exhorted the students to concentrate fully on the acquisition of knowledge. He also asked the teachers to perform their duties with devotion and vigour in order to further the cause of education.—APP
