GUJRANWALA Aroop police registered a case against seven policemen, including an ASI, and a hotel owner for gang-raping a woman on Sunday.
Reports said that victim 'S' was waiting for a Lahore-bound bus at the Pindi bypass stop when ASI Rana Idrees and six constables came there on an official van. The policemen picked her up on the pretext of investigation and took her to Sajawal Hotel where they gang-raped her.
The victim alleged that policemen also tortured her and forcibly offered her liquor.
On receiving information, Civil Lines SP Athar Waheed reached the Aroop police station and got registered an FIR against the ASI, six constables and the hotel owner.
