SAHIWAL, April 18: The Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal activists on Thursday night threw a spanner on a music show, forcing the organizers to shift the venue at midnight.

Reports reaching here on Friday said a famous singer’s show had been organized at a local stadium. The MMA workers protested against the programme, but the show administration did not move. During the programme, some ‘aggressive’ MMA activists stormed into the stadium and stopped the show.

MMA district President Maulana Munawar Ali Khan, Dr Tahir Siraj, Mehr Muhammad Abbas, Abdul Razzaq and others took out a protest procession against the programme in the evening.

The organizers shifted the music show to the Jinnah Hall.
