Struggle for Muslim Sports

LAHORE, Dec 6: Muslim Sports struggled to beat Islamia Club 2-1 while Tiger Club earned a facile 2-0 win as two matches were decided in the Lahore Ramazan-ul-Mubarak Inter-club volley-ball tournament at the Iqbal Park Sports Complex Thursday.

Muslim Sports fought well as Islamia Club, mostly comprising of younger lads, gave stunning performance. Muslim Sports won with score 25-10, 24-26, 15-8.

For the losers, Maqsood displayed an outstanding performance. Allah Ditta, Farhat and Saifullah did a good job for the winners.

Earlier, Tiger Club did not face much resistance from Khushi Mohammad Club before winning at 25-13, 25-21.

Friday’s fixture:

Griffin Club vs Tiger Club at 10 am; Muslim Sports vs Sunny Club at 11 am.
