KOHAT, Sept 16 Authorities have declared 45 worship places -- seven imambargahs and 38 mosques -- where Eid prayers will be offered as most sensitive, in the Kohat region.

The security plan, unveiled by regional police chief Abdullah Khan on Wednesday, includes installation of security metal detector walkthrough gates at the sensitive mosques and imambargahs in Kohat, Karak and Hangu districts.

FC personnel, commandoes and bomb disposal squads will also be deployed at the religious places during Eid prayers to avoid any untoward incident.

Members of local peace committees will also be provided with metal detectors to check suspicious people at the entrance of Eidgahs.

All control rooms have been connected with a free call service at Rescue 15 for quick response in case of any terrorist act.
