RAWALPINDI, March 13 Federal Investigation Agency here on Saturday submitted before the court conducting the trial in Benazir Bhutto assassination case that the federal government was waiting for the report of United Nations commission.

Putting off the hearing till March 27 the court directed the FIA to submit complete investigation report against the five arrested men as the trial could not be halted for indefinite period.

ATC-I Judge Malik Mohammad Akram Awan had directed the FIA officials to submit complete report about the reinvestigations launched by the agency in the Benazir murder case in August last year bringing the trial to a halt.

An official of FIA submitted before the court that the complete investigation report could only be submitted after UN commission concludes its investigations.

The trial against Sher Zaman, Aitzaz Shah, Abdul Rasheed, Hasnain Gul and Rafaqat was stopped on the request of the federal government as reinvestigations were launched calling the earlier investigations as inconclusive.
