LARKANA, April 4 The Pakistan People's Party-Shaheed Bhutto chairperson Ghinwa Bhutto on Saturday supported 'dialogue' with potential suicide attackers and their facilitators and alleged that pro-government Taliban were involved in flogging the teenaged girl in Swat.

Addressing a congregation of her party workers and supporters, who had gathered separately to observe the 30th death anniversary of Z.A. Bhutto in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto, Ghinwa said that Pakistan was going through a critical phase and people were facing terrorism and poverty.

She came down hard on President Asif Ali Zardari and said that this year's death anniversary was different from the previous one because people had awakened now and they had understood that Z.A. Bhutto's philosophy was not restricted to Larkana only.

She accused district administration of not consulting her party before finalising arrangements for the death anniversary.

She said that the rich had made PPP hostage for many years and Bhuttos' enemies stood exposed before people.

Big walls in Naudero spoke volumes for the degree of fear Zardari felt in his heart, she said.

Without naming anyone, she said that they had not celebrated the birthday of Begum Nusrat Bhutto but PPP-SB did not forget to celebrate it.

She alleged that rulers had made Begum Bhutto hostage and demanded that she be given back to her children. They were exploiting Begum Nusrat Bhutto for their vested interests, she added.

Ghinwa believed that attacks by the US and militants were just adding fuel to the fire and called for shooting the people who had flogged a girl in Swat on the basis of suspicion.

She said that the lawyers' movement had benefited only Zardari and Nawaz Sharif and thanked God that she had not joined the campaign. Who would guarantee that under the existing laws president, prime minister and chief justice would not be sent home, she asked.

The Sindh National Front chief Mumtaz Ali Bhutto paid rich tribute to Z.A. Bhutto and said that many civilian and army rulers had come and gone but only Bhutto ruled hearts of the people.

He preferred to walk to the gallows to compromising on principles and instead of filling his coffers he served people with honesty and commitment in light of his political philosophy.

He claimed that top PPP leadership had fled the country and did not dare meet Z.A. Bhutto when he was in jail and alleged that those who had sucked up to Gen Zia and presented him Sindhi Ajrak and cap were now sitting in the PPP.

Mumtaz said that Gen Zia had made an offer to Z.A. Bhutto to leave the county but he turned it down because he did not want to ditch people.
