RAWALPINDI, April 12: The fifth and feature event of Saturday’s Rawalpindi Gymkhana Races was cancelled after the withdrawal of Imran Love and Yak Chashm-e-Gul.

The following are the results:

Ist Race: Shan Prince 7-2 (Rifaqat), Rani Khan 9-0 (Pervaiz), Naseeb 8-4 (Atif), Roberto Carlos 8-4 (Shahnawaz). Also ran Rafiq-e-Azam; Won by 2L, 4L, 3L; time one minute nine secs; winner trained by Muhammad Akram.

2nd race: Recondition 8-5 (Shahnawaz), Rani Mukharjee 8-3 (Pervaiz), Tera Karam 8-13 (Atif), Flying Princess 9-0 (Alam). Also ran Sher Babu, Dharna and Rope Dancer; Won by 3/4L S. Head, 3L; time one minute 7 3/5 secs; winner trained by Muhammad Akram.

3rd race: Haji Baba 9-0 (Shahnawaz), Dekha Jai Ga 9-0 (Nadeem), Rukhsar 9-0 (Atif). Also ran Jeet and Rose Rise; time one minute 8 2/5 secs; winner trained by Muhammad Akram.

4th Race: Roop Ki Rani 7-0 (Alam), Sher Dil 7-10 (Atif), Raz 9-4 (Shahnawaz), Anand 8-6 (Pervaiz). Only four ran. Won by 3L, 2L; time one minute 6 2/5 secs); winner trained by Muhammad Akram.

5th Race: Cancelled.
