Musharraf calls on Saudi king

RIYADH Former president Pervez Musharraf called on Saudi monarch Abdullah bin Abdulaziz here on Sunday.

The meeting was attended by Saudi Interior Minister Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, other members of the royal family and senior officials.

On arrival at the Riyadh air base aboard an aircraft especially sent by King Abdullah to bring him to the kingdom, Gen (retd) Musharraf was received by Saudi Transport Minister Dr Jubara bin Eid Al Suraiseri and Base Commander Lt-Gen Abdul Latif.

The former president later left for Madina.
