LAHORE, Dec 4: The Pakistan cricket team coach Mudassar Nazar said that he would like the announcement of the team, for the Bangladesh tour to be made before Eid.

Pakistan team is touring Bangladesh from Jan 2, 2002 to play two Tests and three one-day internationals.

Talking to journalists after concluding the camp training at the Gaddafi Stadium on Tuesday, Mudassar Nazar wished that only the members of the touring party should come to the training camp after Eid-ul-Fitr.

Mudassar said that the first phase of the training camp had been extended from Dec 12 to 14.

While replying to a question about the absence of paceman Shoaib Akhtar and off-spinner Saqlain Mushtaq from the camp, Mudassar said that he had no information when the two key players would join it.

Mudassar pointed out that Saeed Anwar was running a temperature while Taufiq Omar had knee injury, therefore, both were not attending the training camp.

He said that paceman Mohammad Sami had regained his fitness and he sent down fastest deliveries during the camp training on Tuesday.
