Rome will host the 13th edition World Championships in 5 disciplines: swimming, open water swimming, diving, water polo and synchronized swimming.

KARACHI An eight-member Pakistan swimming squad is due to leave for Rome, Italy today to feature in the 13th World Swimming Championship scheduled to take place from July 22 to August 12, the Pakistan Swimming Federation announced on Sunday.

 

Representing Pakistan this year are six female and two male swimmers. 

 

The Pakistani squad will be led by Kiran Khan, who at 19 is already a veteran having represented Pakistan in the Olympics in 2008, the South Asian Games and the Commonwealth Games.

 

Kiran Khan, Aqsa Tariq , Ghulam Sakina, Mahnoor Maqsood, Rida Mitha, Aelia Mehdi, Faiz Mohammad and Mohammed Nasir.


Secretary General PSF Maj. Majid Wasim will accompany the team as Manager cum head of the delegation.
