KARACHI, April 7: The Maritime Security Agency has seized three Indian fishing boats with 15 fishermen for illegal fishing in Pakistan’s Exclusive Economic Zone.

These boats were detained on Sunday night inside Pakistani sea by the MSA ship, MSS Rehmat.

The detained fishermen have been handed over to the police.

In February last, Pakistan had released 280 Indian fishermen as a gesture of goodwill, while last month, more than 60 Indian fishermen were arrested.

More than 100 Pakistani fishermen have been languishing in Indian prisons awaiting their release.
