Kidnapped men’s car found

LANDI KOTAL, April 7: The political authorities in Landi Kotal have recovered the car in which a C&W official and a government contractor were kidnapped from the Sra Vela area of Bazar in Tirah valley.

The contractor, Ferozdin, and Ikramullah, a sub-engineer in the C&W department, were kidnapped by unknown tribesmen along their car while returning from Brag area after the inspection of construction work on Zakhakhel road.

The authorities have also arrested 15 Zakhakhel tribesmen at various checkpoints on Peshawar-Landi Kotal Road in order to pressurize the tribesmen to trace the missing engineer and contractor.
