Health sciences varsity gets VC

RAWALPINDI, April 7: The deputy dean of Rawalpindi Medical College (RMC) and allied hospitals, Dr Malik Hussain Mubashir, has been appointed as the vice-chancellor of University of Health Sciences, said a notification issued by the Punjab governor’s secretariat.

Dr Mubashir is the first amongst doctors to be appointed as a vice-chancellor of a public university. He also received Hilal-i- Imtiaz for his contributions towards community health services and mental health.
