LAHORE, Dec 4: District Nazim Mian Aamir Mahmood has said that the health services director of the defunct Metropolitan Corporation of Lahore will have to comply with his transfer orders.

Answering a question in respect of refusal of the health services director at his post-budget news conference at the Jinnah Hall here on Tuesday, the Nazim said that anyone who was transferred had to comply with the orders.

When a reporter told him that the official concerned had refused to accept the authority of the district Nazim to order his transfer, Mian Aamir Mahmood said: “We will read the Local Government Ordinance to him if he desires so.”
