UHS to start operation soon

LAHORE, April 6: The University of Health Sciences will soon be made operational, Punjab Chief Secretary Hafeez Akhtar said on Sunday.

He was presiding over a meeting held here to review affiliation of various medical college with the University of Health Sciences, its legal structure, transfer of record from other universities to the UHS, examination system and other matters of the UHS.

The UHS and other universities will mutually decide that how the University of Health Sciences can benefit from the examinations of medical colleges and record relating to the students.

Punjab health department secretary, vice-chancellors of the Punjab, Bahauddin Zakaria, Islamia University and the UHS besides chairman of the UHS Board of Governors participated in the meeting.—APP
