He said that it was the vision of Allama to establish the university with a campus, library and printing press while there were only a few universities at that time with campus.

Dr Baloch said that it was the duty of people of Sindh, scholars and alumni of the University to pay tribute to Allama by establishing a monument at the campus.

The meeting after discussion decided that the monument would be set up with the help of world class architects depicting art and culture of Sindh and the personality of Allama I.I. Kazi. The meeting decided to invite proposals from the architects of international repute for this purpose.

The Registrar of the University informed the meeting that noted scholar Dr Baloch had donated Rs2 million for the construction of Monumental Gate to be named Bab-e-Allama I.I.Kazi at the main road of the campus.
