HYDERABAD: Health centre opens

HYDERABAD, Feb 27 District Nazim Kanwar Naveed Jamil inaugurated on Friday a 10-bed mother and childcare basic health centre constructed at a cost of Rs25 million in Liaquat Colony.

He said at the opening ceremony of the centre that the health centre would become a fully-fledged hospital after provision of operation theatre, radiology and laboratory.

He said that specialist doctors would be hired to treat people at the centre, which would cater for health needs of a population of 500,000.—Bureau
