Two shot dead

QUETTA, April 4: A police officer and another man were gunned down in Jafarabad and Mastung on Friday.

An inspector of Jafarabad police, Ghazi Khan Abro, was on his way to office in official vehicle when some persons riding a motorbike opened fire on him near the CIA centre. He died of multiple bullet injuries. The assailants fled.

In Mastung area unknown men shot dead Mohammad Iqbal and injured Mohammad Zubar over enmity.

A case has been registered against the assailants who fled after the attack.
