PESHAWAR, March 4: Chief Minister Akram Khan Durrani has directed the authorities that the on-going construction work on uplift projects should not affect  the  smooth flow of vehicular traffic  and  cause inconvenience to the people.

He issued these directives during a briefing given to him by the Frontier Highway Authority (FHA) about the projects being undertaken in the city.

He pledged that the government wanted to develop the city and made it a centre of business and trade activities once again. He asked the department concerned to ensure that the on-going construction work should not affect the smooth flow of traffic.
