HYDERABAD, April 28 The taluka nazim of Bulri Shah Karim, Tando Mohammad Khan district, has described registration of an FIR against him as political victimisation

Speaking to newsmen in Saeedpur Takkar, taluka nazim Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah said the person who had lodged the FIR against him had nothing to do with the area as he was neither a resident of the taluka nor had any agriculture land in the area.

Mr Shah said the FIR was aimed at defaming him and claimed that his ancestors had owned land in Saeedpur Takkar for centuries and he did not need to occupy the land of any other person. He vowed to seek justice from the court of law.

One Pir Manzoor Sarhandi has lodged an FIR with the Tando Mohammad Khan police against the taluka nazim, accusing him of occupying his land by force.—Bureau
