PESHAWAR, April 2: The United Municipal Workers Union will observe strike against non-payment of salaries.

According to a press release issued here on Wednesday the workers union had demanded of the city district government to pay salaries to all employees before April 7, otherwise the workers would start a protest movement.

The statement said that indifferent attitude of the city district government had left the workers with no option but to launch the protest movement.

The press release said that the workers would launch the movement and march toward the Frontier House.
