KARACHI, April 2: The Board of Secondary Education, Karachi, has notified all heads of schools that applications for renewal of recognition for the academic year 2003-2004 can be submitted in the office of the Inspection and Recognition Officer along with a renewal of recognition fee of Rs1,000 in the shape of pay- order in the name of secretary of the BIEK.

Till May 31, the forms will be accepted with a normal fee of Rs1,000; from June 2 to Aug 30 with a fine of Rs200, while applications submitted thereafter will be accepted with a late fee of Rs500.

The renewal of recognition certificate for academic year 2003-04 will be issued within two months.

The schools whose renewal is valid up to the academic year 2003-04 need not apply.—PPI
