Published December 4, 2001

KARACHI, Dec 3: The IBA has reviewed the cases of 31 candidates for admission to medical colleges from Hyderabad, whose records were affected by computer virus.

A statement of the IBA said here on Monday that the error was detected and rectified before it could affect other candidates’ records.

It stated that a new revised provisional list of candidates from Hyderabad has been prepared.

The IBA regretted the inconvenience caused to the students and their parents by the technical fault.

Meanwhile, the testing cell of the IBA has announced the test results for Sindh’s medical colleges conducted on Nov 15.

The IBA test coordinator Abdul Hameed Khan said the results of all the 5426 candidates from all districts of the province had been accepted by the respective medical colleges and students as calculated by the IBA.—APP
