KHAIRPUR, March 25: One person was killed and 15 were injured when a recklessly-driven Moro-bound wagon overturned near Hingorja on Monday night.

The man killed was identified as Mohammad Alam Channa, a wireless operator at the Kandiaro police station. The injured included Jamil Ahmad, Faqir Mohammad, Liaquat Ali, Mukhtiar Khatoon, Ms Nishat, Ali Sher, Masuad Younus, Shams Jatoi, Jafar Channa and Ms Bibi.

Meanwhile, one person was killed and another was injured when a car collided with a tractor-trolley on the Nawabshah-Khairpur Road near Faiz Ganj.

Car driver Qalandar Dino Lund died on the spot and Ghazanfar Ali, who was injured, was admitted to a local hospital.

The police have arrested tractor driver Pervez Ahmad.

KILLED: Two unidentified armed men shot a man, Manthar Narijo, dead on Tuesday evening on the Ahmadpur-Khairpur Road and took away his motorcycle.
