SHEIKHUPURA, March 22: Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi iterated on Saturday the district government system was going on smoothly.

Speaking at the concluding ceremony of the two-day 14th Peer Ahmad Shah Memorial sports and cultural festival at Nabipur Peeran village, the chief minister regretted that some people were tarnishing the country’s image by propagating against the current government system.

He said these people would not be successful in their plans.

On the demand of Tehsil Nazim Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah, Mr Elahi announced that sui gas would be provided to various localities at Nankana. He also said the middle schools at the village would be upgraded to secondary level.
