Two militants killed in Hangu

KOHAT, Nov 19 Two militants were killed in an exchange of fire with police in the Bezoo Kot area of Thall tehsil, Hangu district, on Thursday.

Police constable Khurshid Alam was also injured in the shootout following a raid on a house in the area.

The bodies of killed militants, Amjid and Yar Khan, were taken to a local hospital.

Meanwhile, the Kohat police arrested four militants and 21 criminals during a search operation on Thursday. They also seized four Kalashnikovs, three repeaters, five shotguns, four rifles and seven pistols.

The arrested persons were handed over to a special investigation team.
