Gold falls by Rs55 in local market

KARACHI, March 18: Following the international market trend, the price of gold in the local bullion market Tuesday slipped by Rs55 at Rs6447 per 10 grams (tezabi).

Similarly, the yellow metal shed Rs51 at Rs6516 and Rs5 at Rs6520 in Lahore and Hyderabad bullion markets respectively. In Multan, gold closed at Rs6510.00 per ten gram.

In Lahore, 22-carat gold declined by Rs47 at Rs5,973 and 21-carat lower by Rs45 at Rs5,701. In Multan, the 22- carat gold settled at Rs5,960.

The prices of silver were stable at Rs89.16, Rs92.75 and Rs88 in Karachi, Lahore and Hyderabad respectively.—APP
