Bhutanese to arrive on March 26

ISLAMABAD, March 17: The contingent from Bhutan will arrive on March 26 to compete in the 9th SAF Games.

“We have received official intimation about the arrival of Bhutanese delegation”, Director Technical of 9th South Asian Federation Games Secretariat, Col. (R) Yahya, said on Monday.

The other countries to participate in the Games are: Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Maldives.

Rowing has been deleted from the list of disciplines. The 14 disciplines now to figure are athletics, swimming, football, volleyball, kabaddi, table tennis, badminton, taekwondo, karate, boxing, weightlifting, wrestling, shooting and squash.—APP
