Three die in gas cylinder blast

KASUR, Dec 1: Three members of a family, including a foster son, were killed early on Saturday when a gas cylinder blew up in Sikandarpura village, Khudian.

Ghulam Murtaza, his wife Shamim Bibi and Muhammad Waqar were asleep in a room when the cylinder kept there exploded with a big bang. As a result, the roof of the room collapsed and the three inmates were buried alive under the debris.

ABDUCTED: Eight outlaws abducted a girl on Saturday over the litigation issue.

Jahangir and his accomplices took away Nusrat Bibi in a car and detained her in a room of their house. On a tip-off, Khudian police conducted a raid on culprits’ house and recovered the abducted girl. Police have registered a case against the outlaws.
