Woman shot dead over money dispute

FAISALABAD, Dec 1: Four people killed a woman and injured her daughter-in-law over a monetary dispute in Chak No 53 GB on Saturday.

Police said Muhammad Afzal had a monetary dispute with Shamshair. Afzal and his accomplices Zakir, Allah Ditta and Riaz opened fire on Shamshair’s family. As a result, Shamshair’s mother Zeba Bibi died on the spot while his wife Allah Muafi was injured seriously.

Garah police registered a case against the accused.

SUICIDE: A youth committed suicide over a domestic dispute in Azamabad on Saturday.

Jawed Ali, 23, shot himself dead when his father reprimanded him for not going to job.

Ghulam Muhammadabad police sent the body for postmortem.

ARRESTED: Two industrialists were arrested on charge of default here on Saturday.

Ghulam Hussain did not return the loan of a bank. A banking court bailiff with the help of police arrested the industrialist from his house and sent him to jail.

The bailiff also arrested Mufti Waheed Ahmed for not paying the loan obtained from Habib Bank’s Clock Tower branch.
