HYDERABAD, March 15: Sindh Governor and Chancellor of the universities of Sindh Dr Ishratul Ibad will preside over the convocation of the Sindh Agriculture University, Tando Jam, on March 17.

According to an announcement, gold medals would be awarded to eight postgraduate candidates while 39 graduates would be awarded silver medals.

Post-graduate degrees would be awarded to 108 candidates and graduate degrees to 250 candidates.

SINDH UNIVERSITY: The Sindhi department of the University of Sindh is organizing a book launching ceremony to introduce Surha Gul Sindh Ja, written by Dr Abdul Jabbar Abid Leghari, highlighting various prominent personalities of Sindh on March 18 at the Institute of Sindhology in Jamshoro.

Former governor of Sindh Lt Gen (Retd) Moinuddin Haider would be the chief guest on the occasion.
